About Us
Since opening of Huilei Musician Education studio, we’ve been committed to help students pursuing violin they love. The studio provides a unique and highly personalized syllabus of learning, creating an environment to nurture, educate and encourage creative individuals to achieve the highest level of success.
Ms Fang Meichen is currently serving as Member of the council in China Musicians Association, member of China Television Musicians Association, member of China Educational Exchange Association, member of China Youth Dancer Education Association, Panel of judge for various international violin competitions and Committee of Performance Grade Examination
Ms Fang Meichen founded Huilei Art School in 1986. As the founder of the school and a professional violin teacher, she has witnessed its growth, promoted its development, and cultivated generations of students. Over the years, she has continuously studied and expanded the violin teaching method, developed advanced teaching concepts, and gained excellent teaching skills.
In 2005, Ms Fang Meichen was invited to study and research violin education at the China Central Conservatory of Music, where she received personal guidance from violin masters Lin YaoJi and Professor Zhao Wei. Deeply influenced by their teaching, she combined her many years of teaching experience to develop teaching methods suitable for contemporary violin performance. As a result, she has trained a large number of outstanding talents for the country, with many students obtaining Grade 10 violin certificates with distinction. Over a hundred students have participated in various violin solo and ensemble competitions, winning gold medals numerous times. Her students have been admitted to esteemed music institutions such as the Germany-Hanover National Conservatory of Music, Germany-Dusseldorf Rubenstein National Conservatory of Music, Ukraine National Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music, Russian-far East State Institution of Art, University of Macau Central Conservatory of Music, China Central Conservatory of Music, Shenyang Conservatory of Music, and other higher music institutions. Many of her students have become outstanding talent students in their colleges and universities, young performers, and members of the new generation of teachers.
Throughout her decades-long career in violin performance and education, Ms Fang Meichen has held many solo concerts and annual concerts. She loves the violin and dedicates herself to teaching students to feel the beauty of the instrument in life. She has also participated in various art performances. In 2005, she performed on the same stage with Hong Kong artist Mr. Tang Zhenzong.
